Reporting to the Facilities Services Team leader, you will have responsibility for the Information sharing and Audio Visual technologies provided to all Ricoh employees and visitors within Ricoh premises nationally. Specifically you`ll ensure our people have enabling tools and functionality within our meeting rooms, showrooms, training and events spaces and ensure continual improvement with current technologies and seek out and deploy new technologies that may enable our people even further. This role will focus on traditional IT networking requirements as the driver for all such technologies and will work alongside the IT function within the company.

You will lead, support and provide training to the wider Facilities department & an assigned network of champions to be able to utilise and troubleshoot any internal customer technology requirements ensuring that a trained and capable individual is present to support customers in all Ricoh locations at all times. You must work with product, marketing and IT specialists to ensure all technologies are fully supported to ensure that the products deployed are always maintained and operational. You will develop and manage a system of internal review and audit to monitor the effectiveness of all deployed technology to ensure consistent up-time of product and to ensure management are presented with relevant scorecard information helping to manage services as effectively as possible.

This role will ensure that all Ricoh technologies are available, operational and enabling to all users helping Ricoh`s people work effectively and efficiently from any of its locations 100% of the time. Essential skills include:

-An IT related qualification that will support a role to successfully deploy communications, collaboration and events technologies
-A level of technical knowledge & understanding relating to general IT including networks, WiFi, cabling systems, switch control, communications systems, applications and software for communications and events operations
-Ability to understand technical terminology presented by IT as well as the ability to rapidly grasp technical diagrams and visual descriptions related to IT technologies
-Ability to quickly grasp and understand different technology products including an aptitude for how products operate
-Strong Interpersonal Skills, with a focus on internal customer service
-Ability to present factual data and information in a logical and easy to understand manner
-Sound project management skills and experience
-Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
-Strong communication skills, both verbal and in writing
-Professionally presented at all times
-Ability to demonstrate confidentiality, commitment and flexibility at all times
-Self-motivated & adaptable with the ability to work under own initiative as well as being able to take instruction and work as part of a team
-Intermediate level in all basic MS Office Packages including Visio and Power point
