Job Title - Blood Production Assistants
We’re expanding our Manchester site, becoming the second largest blood manufacturing facility in Europe and creating a number of opportunities in the process. This is a great opportunity for you to join a fantastic organisation and to become part of a wider team who help save and improve lives.
You don’t need any experience or qualifications as we will provide an extensive induction and training programme. Perhaps you’re returning to work or you’ve just left school, this could be the opportunity you are looking for. We will also have a number of apprenticeships available.
This is a rewarding role in which you will process, store and distribute blood and blood components in our growing manufacturing hub with state-of-the-art equipment and facilities.

Along with other benefits you will receive a minimum of 27 days’ holiday, which increases with service.
Blood production is a 24/7 operation and we have a number of shifts available for both full time and part time work some of which include weekends and bank holidays. This is an informal event, where you come along to talk to existing staff, find out about the role and also get help on how to apply through NHS Jobs.
