Job Title - European Mobile Product Lead (9 month fixed term contract/secondment opportunity)

Join as a European Mobile Product Lead and you'll be part of a dynamic team that makes sure our technology delivers the best experience for our customers. 

This is a 9 month fixed term contract opportunity.

Your Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will have specific responsibility for definition & delivery of mobile apps across our European territories. You will be working with a number of teams and stakeholders across the UK and international business to get things done. You will exemplify Sky's motto of Believe in Better by inspiring developers and designers alike to stretch boundaries. Everything that you do will have the customer at its heart.  

•End-to-end responsibility for definition & delivery of features 

•Identify and prioritise customer requirements, translating them into a backlog for development. 

•Present to and gain sign-off from executive stakeholders. 

•Pull together project teams, including UX, design, development teams, customer services and sales & marketing groups to deliver features to market

•Serve as the day-to-day point of contact and business decision maker for Agile development teams, establishing a working model that ensures rapid progress but also effective upwards communication and consultation where needed. 

•Identify risks, dependencies and changes that may impact delivery. 

•Build relationships across all the key stakeholders in the business to drive delivery of your product 

•Use insight, data and user testing to drive decisions on the best customer experience

Your Skills

•A proven track record delivering mobile apps from idea to launch

•A passion for digital products, particularly mobile, and will be a heavy app user, and a genuine affinity with mobile consumer behaviour 

•An ability to translate a feature into detailed, unambiguous specifications for technology teams

•A critical and analytical mind-set 

•Strong presentation skills with the ability to convey concepts effectively and show thought leadership, particularly with senior executives 

•Have a demonstrable ability to effectively collaborate across multiple stakeholders, and to take a leadership role where clear lines of authority are not always possible 

•Experience in the TV/Broadcast industry is beneficial, but not essential for this role
