Are you a motivated individual, with an eye for detail?

If so, we have the perfect role for you here at npower. We are currently in search of active problem solvers to join our Consumption Management team, supporting the administration of our gas and electric portfolio.

Supporting innovative industry wide changes, this is an exciting time to join our team in a full time role, based in our Rainton House office near Houghton-Le-Spring.


The role
Working as part of the Consumption management team, you will be responsible for assisting the reporting and analysis of our gas and electric product throughout the distribution network.

You will be required to:

• Update and utilise spreadsheets and reports, analysing date from a variety of sources

• Use bespoke systems to perform quality checks and ensure information held across systems is recorded accurately

• Resolve any data inconsistencies, working to complete and identify root cause and recommend improvements where appropriate

• Manage and maintain relationships with customers, using the phone and other communication channels

• Work to targets and deadlines on a daily, weekly and monthly basis

This is a challenging role, but we want you to excel while working with us so you will be given full support and industry training.

Working Hours
To keep up with industry demands and maintain a quality service, successful individuals will join us on a full time, permanent basis working on a shift basis between Monday and Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm.
